I chose to promote inter-cultural understanding and appreciation by "bringing the museum to the library." I frequently created themed displays to exhibit different cultures, music, clothing, food, etc. Here you'll see an exhibit that I hung myself showcasing artifacts that I brought from home or were shared by other staff members, and even our patrons. I love that my community wants to make these displays better and really love seeing patrons stop to look, think, and read.
